I have served on the Namaste Comfort Fund Board since its
inception in 1998. The mission of the
Board, “small gifts with great kindness” was one that reflected my sense of
giving. The purpose of the Fund was to
meet the needs of dying individuals for which there were no other
resources.
I am a social worker by training, having retired from the
Colorado Institute at Fort Logan. Since
that time I have served on various Boards including my profession association’s
Board, Namaste Hospice, and the Fund.
